Paint Correction

Swirl marks and scratch removal from your paint

What is paint correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing, restoring, and rejuvenating the surface scratches and imperfections from a vehicle's paintwork with the use of machine polishers and a range of different polish products.

This is mostly done through the elimination of surface imperfections that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface. These imperfections stop light from reflecting in various directions, therefore detracting from a true, clean, sharp, reflection.

These imperfections include things like swirl marks, fine scratches, bird dropping etching, acid rain, buffer trails, deep scratches, and other impurities.

The steps in the process revolve around restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of your vehicle by buffing and polishing the clear coat to create a consistently smooth and refreshed surface. Paint correction is the foundation of creating a showroom finish on your vehicle.

Whether your vehicle is old or new, paint correction addresses the imperfections and ceases their visibility. It is the ideal way to revive its look, feel and condition.

A fully corrected vehicle when viewed in direct sunlight will show only true reflections and no swirl marks, scratches or blemishes will be visible to the naked eye.

In some cases, paint correction is performed prior to installing a ceramic coating.
